The book online · Pierre Verley

Your account

The preface, the prelude, chapters 1 and 2 and the glossary are free to read, as are the quizzes for every chapter. To buy the book or subscribe to the website, open your account: your first name, surname and e-mail address are all you need, with no password.

Pierre Verley may write to you about his services (artificial-intelligence assistants, training, project support) and his next books. Your details stay with him: they are neither sold nor passed on. You can withdraw this consent at any time, in “Your data”.

Not decided yet? Download the beginning of the book (ePub, free, no sign-up) and read it on your e-reader.

What your name and address are used for

Your address gives you access to the book: you receive a sign-in link, valid for 30 minutes and for one use only, then you stay signed in for 30 days on this device.

If you tick the box, Pierre Verley also uses your address to contact you again about his services and his next books. It is neither sold nor passed on, and you can withdraw this consent at any time.

Your first name and surname go on your invoices, and on your copy of the book if you buy it: an ePub in your name, with a unique number and digital marks that belong to it alone. This number, your name and your address stay in the register of copies, even if you delete your account: if you come back, you get the same number.

Why the book is not free

Digital publishing is not free: it takes computers, a connection, a server for the website, services to send the e-mails and make the assistant answer, and above all time. Buying the book and subscribing to the website fund this project, which is useful to many pilots and hikers. To help it further: keep your copy to yourself, tell people about the website, report any errors you find.

To improve the book, reading is measured with PostHog, hosted in the European Union (pages read, clicks, recording of browsing, input fields masked); for registered readers, it is linked to their e-mail address, along with their registration, the download of their copy, their purchase and their subscription. You can object to this at any time: stop being tracked.

All the details: privacy and terms of use. Your own data, and deleting your account: your data.
